Surrendering two runs and four hits over seven innings, Giants ace Madison Bumgarner led San Francisco to a 4-2 victory against the Padres on Thursday in San Diego. The 23-year-old Bumgarner (10-5, 3.02 ERA) also whiffed six batters and retired 20 out of the final 21 Padres that stepped to the plate.
